FAQ

Tracking, answered

Common questions about tracking a shipment booked with Hyre.

A waybill number is the unique reference code assigned to your shipment the moment it is booked and confirmed with Hyre. It is how we and our courier partners identify your parcel at every checkpoint — pickup, warehouse, customs clearance, transit and delivery. You use it to track your shipment here, and our support team uses it to pull up your booking instantly.

Your waybill number is sent to you by SMS and email as soon as your shipment is booked and confirmed with Hyre. It also appears on your booking receipt.

New shipments can take a few hours to appear after booking, especially before pickup is completed. If it has been more than 24 hours with no update, contact our support team.

Status updates as your shipment moves through each checkpoint — pickup, warehouse, customs clearance, transit and delivery. Updates are near real-time from our courier partners.

Double-check the number for typos — waybill numbers are case-insensitive but must match exactly. If it still isn't found, the shipment may not yet be confirmed, or you can reach out to support with your order details.

No. A waybill number does not reveal your full name, phone number, email address or complete street address. Tracking shows only shipment progress — current status, checkpoints and estimated delivery — with personal details masked. Anyone holding your waybill number can see that basic movement information, so share it only with the sender, the recipient or Hyre support. If you would rather your shipment not be visible on public tracking at all, contact our support team and we can disable public tracking for your booking.

Yes. Tracking is open to anyone who has the number, so the sender and the recipient can both follow the same shipment without an account. Because of this, treat the waybill number like a receipt number and share it only with people involved in the delivery.

Each waybill number is tracked individually on this page. If you ship regularly, signing in to your Hyre account shows all of your active and past shipments together in one place.

A status can stay unchanged while a shipment waits at a hub or goes through customs clearance, which is normal for international deliveries. If there has been no movement for more than three working days, contact support with your waybill number and we will follow it up with our partner.

Tracking stays available for a period after delivery so you can confirm the final status and delivery time. Older shipments remain in your Hyre account history, and support can retrieve details for past bookings if you need them.
